(Vic) 🧛‍♂️October Summary from Tier 3 Sheffield

Victober

Victober

For Victober I read the third in the Little Women Series called Little Men. The sisters do not feature in it much so I found it a little dull. I read part of it wearing a necklace which was similar to one I came across whilst searching for Victorian clothing/ jewellery (see Instragram Wonderwall360 for photos) . I also read some letters written in Victorian times from a Book of Letters by Simon Usher.

Other books

Other books I read are pictured on Wonderwall360. I particularly enjoyed The post birthday 🎂 world. Post birthday world

Halloween 🎃

Yesterday I published an alliterative poem. I’m not a Halloween fan but I did come up with 2 Halloween themed top 5 Tuesdays. Firstly 5 orange and black books. Orange 🎃 + Black 🧙‍♀️

Secondarily creepy books;. albeit it was hard to get 5 and included the Chain which I read this month which was maybe stretching the definition of creepy? The list also includes Dracula 🧛‍♂️ which is a Victorian book.

Creepy books 🧛‍♂️

Tier 3

Where I live in Sheffield is now under tier 3. This means should not meet anyone not in household / support bubble either inside or outside so basically when you live alone no one / great 😦

Most shops seem to be open including clothes and hairdressers but, not completely sure as not been far since became tier 3. My yoga 🧘‍♀️ studio can open as gyms are allowed to open. However can not go to a pub just for a drink. Pubs can only open if they serve a substantial meal; there is a debate about what constitutes as that! Whereas in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 which borders England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 the debate is whether clothes are essential! To clarify clothes are one item shoppers in Wales are being denied during two week firebreak lockdown where only essential items can be bought. Although there has been a man shopping in boxers to make point clothes are essential! Books 📚 are also considered non essential 😦 What are you meant to do when you have to largely stay at home if you can not have books 📚? Luckily I have noticed book shops in Sheffield are open. Besides I have got a to be read shelf including the newly teased Jodie Piccoult (a signed copy sent through the post).
