A poem inspired by this post from Elsie LMC; check it out! See it with my Skelton jogger photo behind it plus another throwback Halloween photos on Instragram Wonderwall360. To prove I have got involved and dressed up for Halloween in the past despite as the poem below says, not being a big fan of Halloween. Also hope do not cause offence with comment about America; meant lightheartedly.
Halloween I donβt get the fuss.
Americain crassness in my opinion.
Literally I loath the concept of trick and treating.
Loath trick and treating; as it is basically begging at peopleβs doors.
Old people get intimidated by trick and treaters at their doors at Halloween.
Why should people be disturbed in their own homes and be pressurised into giving strangers sweets π¬?
Evenings spent in the dark in own home pretending to be out to deter trick and treaters. I detest!
Evenings at Halloween π parties π are a different story.
November that follows with good old English bonfire night is what I perfer. Save the lit pumpkins π for then or use for #streetsoflight
