Is to find an author for each letter of the alphabet; 5 or so per week.
This week A-E
Alcott, Louise May
The author of Little Women, for Victober I read the next in the series Little Men, which is when they start getting married.
Blyton, Enid
I read a lot by Blyton as a child but not read anything as an adult. Think I may get now what my Mum told me about them bro g dated!
Chamberlain, Diane
Similar vein to Jodi Piccoult; not quite as twisty or gripping but solid gentle interesting reads.
Davis, Hunter
I have read his biography, his autobiography of Wainwright, his collection of football articles and his book about women working in biscuit factories in Carlisle (Biscuit girls). I read his newspaper articles and will literally read anything he writes – I have his book of lists!
Edwards, Kim
Years ago, I read and enjoyed her book Memory Keepers Daughter. Just the other week I bought another of hers from a charity shop. Hope, it is equally good.
I chose Enid Blyton too, I adored a lot of her books in my childhood and it’s funny how I’d forgotten her until this prompt!
