The guardian suggested this was how leap day should be spent:
8am My day started 2 hours at later than the guardian suggested at 8am when Alexia started playing 90s music. I can not remember what song woke too.
8.30am got up to have quick bath and forgot for bit, was meant to be quick.
9am – 9.15 ate, threw in workout gear and put plaster over heel where skin is scrapped off from walking last weekend.
9.30 – 10.30 Pilates class. Teacher keen to tell us we would have no aches from class as being a spare day it did not count.
10.45 – 11.45 Yoga 🧘♂️ class.
12 ish bought new wipe clean table cloth. Went to cafe for lunch of Swedish meatballs and fresh orange 🍊 juice. Went to greengrocers then B&M.
1pm Ish Rare trip to my local library. Wanted A woman is no man by Etaf Rum for April book club. They did not have in but ordered it, not sure whether will get quick enough. Walking back home wind was bitterly cold 🥶 although sunny 🌞
1.30 sat on sofa. Lovely way to enjoy sun 🌞 through window, without wind. Took photo of my outfit which I had randomly worn (see 9am for how quick and randomly selected and created instragram post with following caption (see Wonderwall360 for picture).

Spent some time looking at social media, news stories on phone.
2.30pm Decided to watch The Martian. Took until nearly 6pm as was recording from tv with adverts in and closed eyes for but and then rewound. Like with book can not understand how on Mars could stand up normally? The special affects seemed a bit basic. Think character played fairly well; that positive yet pragmatic character.
6pm cooked curry moussaka. Luckily took photo before dished out; as messed up layers dishing out. I had cut aubergine 🍆 into rounds but think should have sliced longways so better layers. Still tasty. Even though been feeling slightly queasy; think maybe but dehydrated as rushed out to exercise without having time to drink much first.
7pm and is back to sofa for tv. Don’t expect to move until bedtime at maybe 10 as feel queasy.
So that is my once in four year’s day.
My friend’s husband had his 10th birthday 🎂 today!
