This is a tag that originated on https://bookhookednook.wordpress.com/2019/07/23/spotify-book-tag-original, I saw it on a Little But a lot which I have tagged below.
The original explanation of the tag from booked hooked nook is:
I have created a tag that mixes your favourite Spotify playlists and books all in one. I want this to just be a fun little tag to share and have a laugh with!
Feel free to join in and get tagging. Please link back to this original post* it would mean a lot.
* Please tag Book hook nook as creator, like I have don’t when you do this irresistible fun tag.
Hit Rewind: a book you go back to again and again?
I do not do a lot of rereading, but I have read One Day twice, listened to the audio book. Bought 3 copies of the book (rebought as some lost first copy then in July bought the 10year anniversary version.) I have been writing a series of blog posts as Dexter’s daughter
This post has links to all the Jasmine one day blogs I posted in July – there has been more in August and the series is continuing!
Romantic Ballads: a book that gives you all these fluttery feels 💗 ?
The girl who came home that centred around the Titanic had some sweet romance in.
Release Radar: a new release book you’re excited for?
Sweet sorrow the latest by David Nicholas
Alone Again: your fave book genre to read on your own?
As a Little but a lot said where I saw this tag (and I could not put it better myself!):
I don’t have a preference on what I read alone and around others. I will read whatever I want around whoever I want.
Alternative: an indie book or author everyone should read?
Again in words of a Little but a lot:
*shrug* I literally have no idea. Shout me your favourite indie reads though, I would appreciate that!
Cheesy Hits: a book full of cheese you love 💗
People love to slam but, I did quite like (like but NOT love) 50 shades. Think first encapsulated how, it can be getting into a relationship with someone with complications; albeit very cheesy that she was a virgin and he was a multimillionaire and how successful she was at work despite the distractions at work. The books and films got worse with every instalment.
Summer Hits: a book you reread every Summer ☀️ ?
Don’t do a lot of rereading. However did reread, One Day last summer in Edinburgh and listened to the audio book this summer. Coincidentally the I have set Jasmine, in Edinburgh working on box office for the fringe like I did last year. Last year I traced footsteps of the character’s from Emma’s Edinburgh house up Arthur’s Seat.
Power Hour: an empowering feminist book or character you adore?
Think Salendervin The Girl with… (dragon tatoo etc) series is a pretty tough female.
Top 5 go to artists; if we were talking musicmy top would be Oasis but, in terms of authors, who you would read anything they write including their shopping list)
1. Jodi Piccoult
2. Diane Chamberlain
3. David Nicholas
4. Hunter Davis; have read his biography and his Wainwright autobiography, his newspaper articles and his book of lists!
