For most of the England the traditional colour is red like post boxes. An exception is Hull which has cream phone boxes as they have own telephone company separate from rest of England.
Of course telephone boxes are becoming less and less use, now most people use mobiles. Old phone boxes have been put to alternative uses, such as mini libraries and tourist information.
