2018 Adventures

Some incredible experiences the most exciting being:

Hot air ballooning

August sabbatical living, working and being a tourist in Edinburgh through the fringe.

As well as my time living in Edinburgh and Sheffield in 2018, I started the year in Wales. I have also spent nights in Lake District, near Whitby, near Alicante in Spain, Manchester and in September to raise awareness of homelessness, I spent the night outside Sheffield cathedral.

March was about steps: I ran 25miles during the month and in a sports relief challenge walked most steps out of yoga group. I finished with a 20mile walk on March 30th then March 31st tried to move as little as possible! Between 1st September and 6th November covered 300miles walking which is the distance between London and Paris.

Took part in Processions in June which was to mark 100 years since first women in UK got the vote. On the day also sought out Wildlife as June was about doing something wildlife related each day.

In October within 3 days I saw both Jason Donavon and Kylie Minnogue perform. Most exciting in terms of music was Tramlines in my local park especially Stereophonics and Mr Noel Gallagher.

In terms of the blog, I have started co hosting a 6 word story challenge, which will return in the new year.
