Challenge open Saturday 2nd June 2018 – Thursday 7th June 2018
Welcome to the Six Word Story Challenge.
For those who have never dropped by before a new prompt is posted every Saturday morning at 9am GMT either here or on KirstyWrites.
And…. drumroll…. This week’s prompt is:
Journey
My attempt at today’s challenge:
Limo transported bride to new life.
Remember to share your entry on social media using the sharing buttons below! Let’s tell everyone about our challenge, the more the merrier!
Use the hashtag#SixWordStoryChallenge.

How does it work?

2. Like, comment & engage with other authors
3. Come back on Thursday to vote for your favourite
4. Bask in glory if you’re a winner.
Never tried microfiction before?
Never fear, help is at hand. Click through to this post, on challenge founder Nicola Auckland’s blog on writing the best six word stories for inspiration.
Can I share my story?
Of course you can! Tell your story and inspire others to have a go.
Write a blog post, send me a pingback and share on social media.
Use any of these hashtags #SixWordStoryChallenge #6words #sixwordstory #microfiction #flashfiction #fiction #amwriting
How is the winner chosen?
I close entry to the Six Word Story Challenge on Thursday at 9pm. I open a poll at 10pm which remains open for 24hrs. Anybody and everybody is invited to vote in this poll, the winner is the story with the most votes at 9pm on Friday. Simples!

Good luck!

Reblogged this on kirstwrites and commented:
It’s #SixWordStoryChallenge time again. This week Sara is hosting, and the prompt is ‘journey’. Reminds me of Robert Frost’s ‘I took the road less travelled’… looking forward to reading what everyone comes up with for this one!

Probably, it’s too late to ask this question. However, I still hope that someone would answer my query. How do I post my six-word story on my Twitter account next time? I am pretty clueless when it comes to Twitter. I found you on Twitter by using the hashtage #SixWordStoryChallenge (followed you too 🙂 ). But, the posts under the hashtag were from 2017.

Wow great you found us through twitter. I have never used twitter myself. Like you dud the start needs to be posted as comment on the post. Then as it is your story you are free to share it on any social media / your blog as you like.
So i would put your story on twitter and include the hashtag. Maybe there is none from 2018 as no one has shared to twitter?

Ya was wondering why there is no poll link with the blog. Or, did I miss something?
