I have was briefly in the winter gardens on Sunday 22nd, before being evacuated. The winter gardens are opposite side of square to Crucible. The picture below is of Winter Gardens taken from the Crucible.
The Winter Gardens has a snooker table and acts as the tv studio during snooker. Below is Hazel Irvine and the other presenters. The Winter Gardens is free to enter and like a giant greenhouse full of vegetation.
