Dementia and Alexa

After just getting Alexa and writing a series of prompts for Lent about dementia, this is interesting. I wrote prompts about setting phone reminders and getting a daily newspaper to remind of date… this is all stuff Alexa can do if know what to ask! Since yesterday, I have had Alexa play music, read news, tell me when next Scunthorpe match is, but she is refusing to understand and tell me date of league 1 play Off final.

As I go further along my Alzheimer’s path, I’m always looking for ways to make my life a little less complicated. When I find something that works, I put on my Dementia Advocate hat (yes I have one but only wear it in private) and share it with as many people as I can. I know that it may not work for everyone but if it works for a few, then . . . HOORAY!

So many wonders of the world to write about on my blog wall. I'm an Oasis fan hence using wondewall as blog name.
