Both my sister and I had a baby boy doll as well as baby girl dolls. My niece has a baby boy doll as well as baby girl dolls. However my sister has struggled to find baby boy doll clothes in shops that sell baby girl clothes. Of course if want to put a baby boy doll in pink dress that is fine, but if want less feminine clothes for boy or girl dolls then should be able to find. John Lewis has stopped selling clothes labelled as boy or girl however, before Christmas they only had baby girl doll clothes.
Is it unusual to have baby boy dolls?
Did you have a baby boy doll?
Do you think it is a problem having lack of baby boy dolls and clothes in shops?
When I was a kid, baby dolls were all I cared about. (I’ve wanted to be a mother since I was 5 lol) I had one or two baby dolls that were dressed in neutral color onesies and those were the boys. We had some big ones that were supposed to be the size of a real baby and they could wear some of our old baby clothes (mine and my sister’s). Of course, at that time, we were never taught boys could wear pink and dresses, things were still very traditional

So were they proper boys with boy genitals?

No, sadly no. Ohhh, no that I remember I did have a boy one. He would pee and have a nappy so he had a little baby penis 😂

One real boy. Thanks that is interesting, think most had more girls than boys.

Definitely. They make mostly girls which is weird. There’s more diversity now, which is great. When I was little there were no black or Asian dolls. They were all blonde, blue eyes
