Think it may be even funnier than when it was in Sheffield. Same great music and actor playing Jamie. Still has Sheffield references including Sheffield blue recycling bin and references to Meadowhall and Parson’s Cross. Think have made Hugh from Victor’s secrets more Yorkshire (for Sheffielder’s reference; he sounds like Toby Foster).
There are more special effects than in Sheffield. The first half ends with a hologram of a glamorous Jamie coming through the curtain; on to the stage of his first drag show.
There is the same great Jamie, Auntie and Preti. Jamie’s Mum is good too but can not remember if same actress. Lots of laughter throughout from audience and almost a full ovation at the end.
It was in my top 3 shoes last year and therefore I bought the soundtrack on entry to the theatre. It was fantastic again; highly recommend.
